Enterprise Ready Cloud Roadshow - Jaipur

Microsoft organized an event on the topic “Enterprise Ready Cloud Roadshow” at Holiday Inn, Jaipur on 28th February 2015. The session was delivered by Mr. Prabhjot Singh Bakshi, Microsoft Certified Trainer for Windows Phone 7, Azure, Windows 8.
Five students from Computer Science and Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon namely Ajay Kumar Sharma (16009), Ankur Yadav (16022), Ankur Yadav(16023), Deepanshu Sharma (16047) andDheeraj Dixit (16050) attended this event.
There are variety of apps, various devices, and now, enormous data than ever - all driven by the rise of cloud computing and the use of cloud services. Microsoft’s approach allows IT to get the benefits of scale, speed, and agility while still protecting existing investments. This means IT can now rapidly build and deploy apps, flexibly manage IT services, and support real-time analytics across all forms of data. Microsoft azure is a cloud computing platform developed by Microsoft. Microsoft has upgraded this platform with new features and services, for example, now, one need not have to buy URL for the websites but can create temporary websites, which are valid for 3 days using azure software. Also it has upgraded its data management system. Now there is no need to write commands like "select *" and others to view the table or commands to create table. By using the software, one can create and view all the elements of that table by just clicking. In addition, it provides servers to store data for big Organizations both private and government.
Participants gained a good knowledge of Azure as a complete overview of Microsoft Azure was exposed to them. There were sessions on building mobile and web application using Azure.
