IEEE Event “TECHFIESTA”

27th February, 2015

IEEE student branch of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized “TECHFIESTA” - a technical event on 27th February, 2015. A total of 150 students from every branch took part in the event very enthusiastically. Students participated in the activities like:

1. Technical Quiz competition

2. Debate competition

3. Code-Debugging competition

4. LAN Gaming competition.

Students took part in events like technical quiz competition and debate. The technical quiz was divided into categories, namely:

1. Current Affairs

2. Sports

3. Politics

For debate competition students were given topics based on which they gave their presentation. The topics of debate were:

1. Does Google know too much about you?

2. Is Modi’s Make in India, a reality or a dream?

3. Does Woman security laws are sufficient enough or not?

In Code Debugging students had to answer Multiple choice questions and they were given programs to analyse and find errors. In LAN Gaming competition, students had to work on the game of COUNTER STRIKE 1.6.
