Google Student Club of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized the Second AdClass Session of the series on 18th February 2015 to introduce students to Online Marketing using Google's platform, such as AdWords, AdSense, Admob and Analytics. The session was conducted by Shivansh Mudgil, Google Student Ambassador-DCE & Google Online Marketing Lab Alumni.
Successful participation in GOMC helps the students in having a better chance for being invited to Online Marketing Lab Edition. This avenue enables student leads, mostly GSA on campus to train and equip students for the Google Online Marketing Challenge and expose them to the online trends by having the chance of achieving great results in the competition. Adclass provides free training materials that offer comprehensive content specifically in Google AdWords Fundamentals and essential online marketing tools, guidelines for AdSense, Analytics, etc.
The speaker, Shivansh Mudgil taught the students about creating entire campaign by explaining the various settings and how to aim at different locations, languages and devices. He also explained about the importance and advantages of digital marketing over print marketing and how to setup an Adwords account and its various components, initially. The session covered various topics like creating a structured campaign, detailed structure of an Adwords account bidding styles, search networks, etc.
