Session Chair at IEEE IndiaCom 2017

An International conference was organized by BharatiVidyapeeth’s Institute of Computer Applications and Management (BVICAM), New Delhi technically sponsored by IEEE Delhi Section and supported by IETE, ISTE & CSI. It was 11th Indiacom and 4th International Conference of 3 days from 1st March - 3rd March, 2017. The conference focused on “Computing for Sustainable Global Development”. Faculty member Ms. Parul Bansal (Assistant Professor) and Mrs. Poonam Yadav from Electronics & Communication Dept. of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon were the session chair for Track No. 6 (High Speed Networking and Information Security) with the Session Title - Renewable Energy Devices for Innovative Technologies and Services in Smart Cities on 3rdMarch 2017.

The Conference was inaugurated on 1st March 2017 by the Chief Guest Professor Tamas Gedeon (The Australian University, Canberra, Australia). The Guest of Honor was Professor Mohammad Yamin (King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia). The Inauguration was presided by Prof. K.K. Aggarwal (Former Founder Vice Chancellor, GGSIP University, New Delhi) in the august presence of Prof. A.K. Nayak (Chairman, Publication Committee, Computer Society of India) and Prof. Mini S. Thomas (Chairman, IEEE Delhi Section).

The conference executed in many tracks with around 20 papers in each track. Paper presentations for track 6 were conducted in the Seminar Hall and the session was chaired by Ms. Parul Bansal (DCE, Gurgaon), Mrs. Poonam Yadav (DCE, Gurgaon) and Dr. Ashwani Kush (Kurukshetra University, Haryana).

The aim of the session was to find out a number of crucial topics in state of the arts of technologies and solutions related to smart cities, including big data and cloud computing, collaborative platforms, communication infrastructures, smart health, sustainable development and energy management Information Innovation.After a brief introduction of the session chairs, the track proceedings began. The papers were based on innovative project ideas as well as research work done by scholars.The speakers also shared their experience on smart cities and the information technologies that will provide better living conditions in the cities of tomorrow.

At the end of the session the certificates were distributed to all the presenters.
