“Capgemini TechChallenge50”

Ujjwal Choudhary(17940) from CSIT branch of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon was selected as one of the Finalists For The Capgemini Tech Challenge on 26th October, 2017 in Data Science Challenge.
The Capgemini TechChallenge was divided into two parts:
Online Challenge
The Capgemini TechChallenge started on 1st October 2017.There were multiple domains to take part in. Each domain had 2 levels and then the top 5 contestants from each domain were called for final challenge at Capgemini Campus, Mumbai. The first level had 25 multiple choice questions. Each question had a score of 4 marks. Ujjwal scored 72 in Data Science and 92 in Coding.
The second level was the data science challenge. In this level participants were asked to create a model that predicts the probability of an employee resignation based on attributes provided. Ujjwal was able to create a model and scored 60.89. Coding had a core programming problem in which he scored 90 marks and secured his place in finals, competing with 4 other semi-final winners. He was selected across nation and represented DCE, Gurgaon College at the finals.
Final Challenge
The finalists were welcomed at Capgemini Campus, Airoli and were greeted with goodies, RFID IDs and a Capgemini TechChallenge T-shirt. As the competition started they had to form a team for the final challenge and then were given final challenge.
In the evening there was the result declaration and prize distribution ceremony in which a winner and a runner up were announced out of 50 finalists.
In the end, participants were given certificates and a gift to remember and has a group photo taken.
It was a great learning experience for the participants.
