Android Workshop

Google Developer Student Club, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized a workshop on “Android” on 4th October, 2017 Akansha Kashyap (18010), as the lead of DSC with three students Atul Raj, (Roll no 18031), Bhumika, (Roll no18038) and Divyansh Roll no 18056) Gurgaon along with Faculty Coordinator, Ms. Sarita (Assistant Professor, CSE) conducted the workshop.
The workshop began with the introduction of Android. Students were explained, Android is a comprehensive software stack of mobile devices that includes an operating system, middleware and key application. They were also told android is a rich source of software bunch used in Mobile Technology through its innovation module of The Android Software Development Kit (SDK).
Continuing the workshop, students were told Android is built on open Linux Kernel. This particular software for Mobile Application is made to be open source, thereby giving the opportunity to the developers to introduce and incorporate any technological advancement. Build on custom virtual machine android gives its users the addition usage and application power.
Hands on experience on Android Programming was also given. Projects likeLayout Application, GPS Output, Touch screen Application, SMS Manager Application and Log Outputwere covered up in the workshop.
