Case Study Competition on "National Startup Day"

Institutions Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education (MoE), Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram celebrated “National Startup Day” on 16^th January, 2023. A “Case Study Competition” on the topic – “From Start up to Success: An Entrepreneurial Case-Study” was organized from 14^th - 16^th January, 2023. 50 students from CSE/CSIT/IT/ECE/ECS/EEE/ME departments participated in the competition. The coordinator of the competition was Prof. Pooja Sharma (ECE Dept.)

The motive behind conducting the case study was to encourage the idea of entrepreneurship and to give a boost to schemes like Make-in-India.

The rules for the case study competition were told to the students beforehand. All the participants were required to submit their case study till 14^th January, 2023. The shortlisted participants were advised to present their ideas by way of Power Point Presentation on 16^th January, 2023. The criteria of evaluation on the final day of competition were the aggregation of judge’s score and voting of student attendees in real time of the competition.

The activity encouraged the students to express their ideology using the colors of imagination. The activity kept the students engaged and gives them all an opportunity to explore successful businesses. It inspired them to think and to work creatively in order to understand entrepreneurship.
