Patriotic Run "Rashtra Bhakti Khel Se Shakti"

NSS unit of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram organized a Patriotic Run under the theme “Rashtra Bhakti Khel Se Shakti” on 26th January, 2023 to pay tribute to Veterans of India who spent their life in protecting the nation along with martyrs who sacrificed their life for Indian soil. The AICTE has signed MoU with veterans India to promote nationalism and patriotism through the mode of sports and other activities across India. The Chief Guest of the program was Retd. Brigadier Jagmohan Varma (SM,VSM). Faculty members staff members and students attended the run with full enthusiasm.
The run glorified the moment of nationalism and patriotism that every single Indian have. The quality and essence of Rashtrabhakti is covered through this run.
After march (Patriotic Run) everyone gathered for flag hoisting by chief guest Brigadier Jagmohan Verma and Principal Dr. Ritu Sindhu and National Anthem.
In institute Auditorium Chief Guest- Retd. Brigadier Jagmohan Varma addressed the students with a motivational speech and introduced Veterans India organization to the students. An address by Prof. (Dr.) Ritu Sindhu urged the students to work on their fundamental duties. Student of CSIT 2nd year Meenakshi sang a very beautiful patriotic song. Event ended with prize distribution for winners of various competitions conducted in January month.
The Patriotic event ended with lunch for all participants.
