National Voters' Day

To mark the foundation day of Election Commission of India, NSS wings, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram celebrated “National Voters’ Day” on 25^th January 2023. The theme for this year’s NVD, ‘Nothing Like Voting, I Vote for Sure’ is dedicated to voters which conveys individual’s feeling and aspiration towards participation in the electoral process through power of their vote.

The main purpose of the NVD celebration is to encourage, facilitate and maximize enrolment, especially for the new voters. Dedicated to the voters of the country, the day is utilized to spread awareness among voters and for promoting informed participation in the electoral process.

DCE, Gurugram conducted “Essay Writing” competition on “National Voters Day. 45 students participated in the competition.

Prof. (Dr.) Anupam Dalal (NSS, Coordinator) advised voters to think differently for the society. After the inspirational word, faculty members, staff members and students under the guidance of Prof. (Dr) Ritu Sindhu (Principal, DCE Gurugram) took pledge to always vote.

Students of various branches participated and celebrated National Voters Day enthusiastically.
