Basant Panchmi Celebration

Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram celebrated the “Basant Panchami” on 26th January, 2023. All the faculty members, students and staff members participated in the celebration to seek the blessings of Goddess of Knowledge, Wisdom, Music, Culture and Art.
The celebration started with enlightened speech of Prof. Ritu Sindhu (Principal, DCE, Gurugram). She told about the importance of celebrating the day and told that Goddess symbolizes the purest form of education, art and culture. The day was also celebrated to welcome the month of Basant when nature flourishes to its fullest. Then, Hawan rituals were performed by Pandit Ji who not only performed the Pooja but also throwed light upon the concept behind worshipping Goddess. The students and faculty members also participated in the Hawan programme.
Everyone prayed to the Goddess for having a successful academic year and advancement in carrier opportunities. After Hawan, Saraswati Vandana was recited by all.
The celebration ended by serving Prasad to everyone.
