Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram organized Techpreneur 2.0 on 17th October 2025, a vibrant and power-packed Entrepreneurship event that ignited the spirit of innovation, creativity, and startup culture among students. Spearheaded by the Victors Club Core Team and ably coordinated by Ms. Pooja Khot, the event provided a dynamic platform for budding innovators to pitch their ideas, showcase entrepreneurial thinking, and engage in stimulating interactions with mentors and judges. After a meticulous shortlisting process based on innovation, feasibility, and impact, selected teams advanced through multiple evaluation rounds that tested their creativity, business potential, and presentation excellence.
The event was graced by distinguished guests — Mr. Ankit Khatri (Engagement and Operations Head, Creatara) and Ms. Prerna Jha (Senior Consultant, Infosys) — who shared valuable industry insights, mentored participants, and evaluated their pitches in a thrilling “Shark Tank”-style setting. Techpreneur 2.0 received generous support from sponsors such as Balsamiq, Smaaash, Creatara, and Aptos & Rise In, whose contributions in resources, rewards, and collaboration opportunities significantly elevated the event’s impact and visibility.
Winners were felicitated in the presence of Dr. Mega Goel (HOD CSIT), where the top three teams received cash prizes and certificates of achievement for their remarkable innovation and entrepreneurial excellence. The seamless coordination of the hospitality team, enthusiastic participation of students, and unwavering support from faculty members made the event a resounding success.
