Yamuna Clean-Up Drive 2025 (Part-II)

NSS Units ofDronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram in collaboration with Sri Aurobindo College and Miranda House, actively engaged in this noble cause at Shyam Ghat, Jagatpur Road, Delhi.The Yamuna Clean-Up Drive 2025 (Part-II) was organized under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), an initiative of the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to promote community participation and environmental awareness. The event aimed to sensitize youth towards the importance of river rejuvenation and encourage them to take an active role in preserving ecological balance.
The program commenced with an Awareness Session from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM, where participants were briefed about the ecological importance of the Yamuna and the urgent need to prevent pollution. This was followed by a Nukkad Natak that effectively portrayed the adverse effects of river pollution and inspired the public to adopt eco-friendly habits. The Cleanliness Session between 10:00 AM and 11:30 AM witnessed active involvement of students and volunteers who collectively cleaned the ghats, collected waste, and segregated plastic and biodegradable materials. The event concluded with a Refreshment and Vote of Thanks session, expressing appreciation to all contributors and participants.
Second-Year Students Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram, demonstrated exceptional enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the event.
