Tree Plantation

NSS Wing, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized the event of Tree Plantation at college campus on 9th September, 2017.

Trees are the foremost source for producing the oxygen in environment, they helps to reduce the level of carbon dioxide. The whole world is facing the problem of global warming and to recover from such problem planting the tree has become one of the important aspects for today.

Principal Prof. (Dr.) B.M.K. Prasad advised to NSS volunteers to think differently for the society to make positive changes and to make environment pollution free. After the inspirational words of Principal, all move towards the place where tree plantation took place. A very first tree planted by Principal Prof. (Dr.) B.M.K. Prasad and then Advisor, Prof.(Dr.) S. K. Yadav, Registrar Prof. R.S. Kochhar, NSS Program officer Mr. Ashok Kumar, Dr. Jyoti Anand  also planted tree. Total trees planted including faculty, NSS volunteers and guest was more than 50.

All were happy and felt proud after the tree plantation event was finished.
