SRISHTI 2017, KERALA

A National Level Technical Exhibition and Competition' 'Srishti 2017 was organized by Saintgits College of Engineering, Kottayam, Kerala on 13th - 14th February 2017. Two projects titled Digital Bank Locker System and Energy Saver from CSE department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon were selected to demonstrate their project ideas in the competition.
Srishti 2017 presented an opportunity for all students to showcase their innovative projects. The project exhibition was the ideal platform for industries and national organizations to feel the pulse of the students and empower the students in the field of innovation and technology. Srishti 2017 aimed at initiating interest in entrepreneurial activities and encouraging young innovators to register for patents.
On the first day of exhibition, local public of Kottayam, Kerala which included students from different institutes and schools visited the exhibition and voted for the projects for Best Viewer's Choice award. In the evening, a cultural program was also organized by the college in which students got to know about the traditions of Kerala.
On the second day of the exhibition, participants explained their innovations and details of their projects and demonstrated working prototypes. Evaluation of the Projects was on the basis of the Innovation, Socio Economic Relevance, and Economic Feasibility. Srishti 2017 ended with a prize distribution function. Nishant Kumar (17096), Lokesh Pandey (17074), and Shubham Kumar (17139) from DCE, Gurgaon got the Consolation Prize in the category of Computer Science Engineering and received the Certificate of Achievement for their Project titled "Digital Bank Locker System" under the guidance of Mrs. Renu (Assistant Professor).
Through the exhibition the students got an opportunity to interact and exchange ideas with the students from other eminent colleges. It was an excellent platform for students to be aware of the level of research and project work that is being done in institutes all over the country having engineering and science background.
