ISTE 46th Annual National Convention

46th Annual National Convention was organized by Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) on the theme "Intelligent Technologies for Better Tomorrow" on 10th February 2017, at Gulzar Group of Institutes, Ludhiana. Dr. Neelam Ruhil, Professor of Computer Science & Engineering Department from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended the convention. The convention aims to provide a common platform for promoting and unfolding new dimensions in the field of intelligent technologies.
All the participants were welcomed by Mr. Gurukirat Singh (Executive Director, Gulzar Group of Institutes). President of ISTE Prof. Pratap Singh Kaha Saheb Desai addressed all the delegates. He mentioned the importance of ISTE and explained how ISTE is working for the welfare of the society and improves development by introducing various chapters and technical talks. He also described the establishment of ISTE and its current working strategies. He also stated the event provide an excellent platform to researcher, academics, scientist, and engineers to discuss various issues relating to the system of higher education to benefit the society.

The Chief Guest of the event Prof. Anil D Sahasrabuddhe, Chairman, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) released the book and Convention Souvenir and he also discussed the "technical innovation and education in India". He discussed technical education is one of the most significant component of human resource development spectrum with potential for adding value to the product and services, for contributing in the national economy and for improving the quality the life of the people. He also discussed the Nanotechnology. Nanotechnology is the science of the miniature, and the technology of the future is one of the most exciting and wide area of research which may lead to the greatest technologies advance of 21st century.
The Chief Guest also awarded Dr. Neelam Ruhil with Best ISTE Chapter Chairman during the convention.
