INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO CETPA INFOTECH PVT. LTD, NOIDA

On 20th January, 2015, thirty students along with the faculty coordinator Mrs. Akanksha Kulshreshtha from Department of Electronics & Computer Engineering, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon visited toCETPA Infotech Pvt. Ltd. Noida.

CETPA, an acronym of computer education and technology promotion association which holds a team of experts from various fields like embedded technology, cloud computing PIC and PLC designing, Networking etc.

Mr. Vikash Kumar, Branch Manager, delivered an introductory talk about the company, its market perspective and various technical functions too.

An expert and technocrat Mr. Sanjay described the categorization of technologies with examples. Further,he showed some projects based on embedded systems. He also explained the working of a microcontroller by writing a code and simulated it on the software.

After that the students visited various labs and availed the opportunity to do hands -on sessions in embedded hardware labs. The embedded expert guided them how to fabricate a simple circuit and to connect all the circuit elements by soldering them on PCB. Besides this, the experts from networking field explained the basic concepts of networking and demonstrated the working of routers and usage of modems.

It was a great experience of learning for the students.
