SELECTION AS MICROSOFT STUDENT PARTNER (MSP) 2015-2016
Microsoft cooperation is an American multinational technology company headquartered in Redmond, Washington and Microsoft Student Partner (MSP) Program is a worldwide initiative to provide profligate opportunity to the selected MSP’s every year, which focuses towards developing the leadership attribute of students in their community. Microsoft student program is a Drive student outreach and learning initiatives by hosting activities like workshops, boot camps etc.
Twelve students Anikete Bajaj, Ashish Gahlawat, Jaiveer Singh, Pranav Sharma, Sushil Sharma, Vikrant Singhal, Rahul Rana, Ambar Kumar, Ria Arora, Mohit Manuja, Chanakya Sethi and Brijesh Agarwal of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon has been selected as Microsoft Student Program (MSP) 2015-2016 that provides a wonderful opportunity to act as a bridge between Microsoft and institutions across the countries.
The selection was based on academic performance, creativity and innovation wherein they also observed the social bent of mind of the selected candidates. The MSP application is drive initiative around social impact involving students from different local region campuses. It also contributes in empowering the industry and academia ecosystem by constantly playing a role of an evangelist in the community.
Microsoft Student Partners are application builders, developers, programmers and coders, who are entrusted with the task of carrying the value of Microsoft is offering to students in the institution and across the country. They also share their deep knowledge and passion for technology with their fellow students. They master the latest technical content provided by Microsoft Imagine and share what they learn, building leadership and communication skills along with technical expertise.
Microsoft Student Partners will work on the following agenda:
1. Run workshops and Hackathon
2. Host tech events and give demos on campus
3. Work alongside Microsoft professionals, assisting them during Hackathon and events
4. Join exclusive Microsoft training events to learn the latest technologies
5. Grow and nurture a community of students and faculty on-campus and online
6. Enhance their skills and career opportunities
7. Get amazing jobs
