Technical Problem Solving & e-Poster Competition

The event “Technical Problem Solving & e-Poster Competition” was organized by IUCEE SPEED AMITY CHAPTER atAmity School of Computer Science, Noida on 17th March, 2016. The objective of the event was to spur the students to think, focus and develop innovative ideas. Three students Ambar Kumar (16016), Mandisha Sharma (16085) and Rahul Rana (16124) of Computer Science & Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaonparticipated in this one-day event and secured 1st position.
The event is divided into two slots - (1) Technical Problem Solving (2) e-Poster Presentation. In problem solving slot, two problems related to Virtual Reality and Disaster Management were given. In second slot, every team had to present their poster on themes Human Computer Interaction, Cloud computing and Artificial Intelligence. There were many students from different colleges across Delhi - NCR who participated in the event. Total 17 teams compete with each other on their merits.
In technical problem solving, students gave solution about flood control by which they can save lots of lives. After that, in poster presentation there were two teams from DCE Gurgaon, first team was Ambar and Mandisha and second was Rahul Rana. Theme of posters was based on Physical Telepresence and Chemical Computing respectively. Ambar and Mandisha won 1st prize in e-poster and Rahul got consolation prize.
At last they organized a fun activity, “Make Tower” in which teams have to make tower as much as long by using newspaper. In this activity Rahul Rana won 1st prize. This event helped students to show their skills and enhance their knowledge.
