Trip to Dharamshala – McLeod Ganj (Triund Trek) – Dalhousie – Khajjiar

Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Dronacharya College of Engineering, organised an educational and recreational trip to Dharamshala - McLeod Ganj (Triund Trek) - Dalhousie - Khajjiar from 13th November to 18th November 2025 for CSE final year students. The trip was planned with the objective of providing students with a refreshing break from academic routines while promoting team bonding, leadership skills, and experiential learning.
The trip was conducted under the supervision and guidance of Prof. Kunal and Prof. Neha Dahiya, who accompanied the students and ensured discipline, safety, and active participation during all activities. Their continuous support contributed significantly to the successful execution of the tour.
The tour was designed to offer students an opportunity to explore natural landscapes, participate in adventure activities such as the Triund Trek, and engage in collaborative experiences that encourage teamwork, resilience, and personal development. The detailed itinerary ensured a balanced schedule combining travel, sightseeing, trekking, and relaxation.
All logistical arrangements, including transportation, accommodation, meals, and safety measures, were professionally coordinated in collaboration with Team Iksa4ar Pvt. Ltd., ensuring a smooth, safe, and well-managed experience throughout the trip.
Students actively participated in the planned activities and demonstrated enthusiasm, cooperation, and team spirit. The experience encouraged peer interaction, strengthened interpersonal relationships, and helped students develop a sense of responsibility and adaptability in a real-world environment.
Overall, the trip proved to be a memorable and enriching experience for the students. It successfully met its objectives of recreation, team building, and holistic development, reinforcing the department’s commitment to fostering experiential learning beyond the classroom.
