QUALITY ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM IN ENGINEERING EDUCATION
(QEEE) PHASE-IV FEEDBACK WORKSHOP

A One day Workshop of all QEEE Coordinators was conducted at IIT Madras on 31st October 2015 at the ADI Seminar hall of Electrical Department. More than 60 participants from all over India participated in the workshop. Dr. Neelam Ruhil represented Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon at the workshop.
An open house workshop was organized with the objective of taking the feedback from all the QEEE Coordinators and Local Faculty members regarding QEEE Phase IV and to discuss the solutions to problems being faced during the course.
The session commenced with an opening address by Ms. Namita, i Coordinator at IIT Madras, Project Management Team. She welcomed all the participants and discussed the agenda of the workshop. The first session was taken by Prof. Ashok Jhunjhunwala, Chairman- QEEE Program.
There was an interactive session with all the QEEE coordinators of various colleges and their personalized feedback regardingQEEE Phase IV was addressed. The major notable points made by the coordinators were:
1. Lab courses will be included in the program
2. Session by industry experts to be included in the course
3. English classes for Saturday to be continued.
4. E-certificate to be given to participants on successful completion of a topic
5. Availability of Quiz & assignment in Course pack
After taking the feedback from the participants Prof. Jhunjhunwala shared the steps that are going to be implemented in future. He then suggested a few improvements that can be implemented by the institutes to fetch the maximum result out of the QEEE courses. He stressed that this goal can be achieved only with the full cooperation and commitment of the associated colleges. He also mentioned that now that college ranking will be done on the basis of their overall performance in such courses and the colleges shall be categorized as Partner institutes, Committed institutes, Non- Committed institutes, Defaulters and Non-starters.
He then shared the list of the best performing colleges in the QEEE programs as per the coordination and efforts by the institutes in the program during the previous phases.
The program ended with the vote of thanks and distribution of certificates to all participants.
