Martyrs Day Celebration

Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon celebrated the Martyrs Day on 22nd March 2018 to pay homage to the victims who fought for the freedom, welfare and progress of the India and sacrificed their lives.

Martyrs Day in India is celebrated every year on 23 March to remember the contribution of brave leaders who braced the storm of the British Raj and ushered in the dawn of freedom.

To celebrate the day the event was organized in seminar hall of college campus. To pay tribute to the brave fighter who lost their lives for nation all faculty members' students and staff member observe 2-minute silence.

Later Dr. BMK Prasad Principal addressed the gathering and said Martyr's Day is marked with the sadness throughout the country because of the patriots who laid down their lives for the country. He told this day is the anniversary of the deaths of  Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Thapar, Shivaram Rajguru.
