Session Chair at IEEE IndiaCom 2018

Mrs. Poonam Yadav (Assistant Professor, IT Department) from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended an international conference organized by Bhartiya Vidypeeth, New Delhi technically supported by IEEE Delhi Section and co supported by IETE, IET, ISTE & CSI. It was 12th IndiaCom and 5th International Conference of 3 days from 14th March – 16th March, 2018. The conference focused on “Computing for Sustainable Global Development”. Mrs. Poonam Yadav was the session chair for Track 1 (Sustainable Computing) with the Session Title “Emerging Trends in Engineering and Data Analytics” on 16th March 2018.
The conference was inaugurated on 14th March 2018 in the presence of the eminent guests including Dr. Hadi Hedayati(Deputy Admin and Finance Minister of MCIT, Afghanistan), Prof. Tom Gedeon (The Australian University, Canberra, Australia). The Guest of Honor was Prof. Mohammad Yamin (King Abdulaziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia). The inauguration was presided by Prof. K.K Aggarwal (Former Founder Vice Chancellor, GGSIP University, New Delhi) in the august presence of Mr. Sanjay Mohapatra (President, Computer Society of India), Prof. A.K Nayak (Secretary, Computer Society of India), Prof. M.N. Hoda (Director, BVICAM, Delhi) and Prof. Mini S. Thomas(Chairman, IEEE Delhi Section).
Mrs. Poonam Yadav shared the session with Prof. (Dr.) S.S Agrawal (Director, KIIT), Prof. R.K Vyas (Division Chairperson, Division 1, CSI), Dr. Pooja Tripathy (HOD-IT, Inderprastha Engineering College).
The objective of the session was to find out the loopholes in the various aspects of engineering and data communications technologies with the aim to promote the bridging from fundamental research on data science and networking to data engineering and communications that lead to industry products, business knowledge and standardization. Research scholars presented their papers and explained their future work.
During the conference and session on various topics and areas a number of delegates interacted and shared for future courses and improvement of their research work. Various areas and fields through the oral and poster sessions were covered as per schedule. Participation of young research scholars in large number was highly appreciable. They presented their research papers in the respective field and areas. Mentors and Guides were also present along with the young research scholars.
At the end of the session the certificate was distributed to all the presenters and the track organizer presented memento to the chairpersons.
