TECH INVENT 2018
26th - 27th March 2018
5 students Megha Keshri (18219), Ankush (18831), Deepak Tiwari (18836), Nand Kishore Nair (18847) and Kiran Nagar (18776) of VI Semester from ECE, EEE and ECS Departments of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended the Tech Invent on 26th - 27th March 2018 at Chandigarh University, Punjab.
Event 1: Project Hackathon (HACKOVERFLOW1.0)
The HACKOVERFLOW 1.0 is a hackathon which gave platform to engineering students to present their creative and innovative engineering solutions and students got an opportunity to interact with fellow innovators to exchange ideas.
During the Hackathon, Ankush, Deepak Tiwari, and Megha Keshri exhibited their project Enabled the Disable in the display space of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon. The aim of the project is to help the handicapped people who don’t have one hand which limits their capabilities in the real life and to address future prosthetics development; help physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians make better clinical care decisions regarding prosthetic selection; justify to payers the need for advanced prosthetic devices; and ultimately improve the quality of life for patients with upper limb amputations. The students received appreciation and goodies for their project during the event.
Event 2: Technical Treasure Hunt
The team comprising of Ankush, Nand Kishor Nair and Kiran Nagar participated in the Technical Treasure Hunt which had several rounds such as Technical crossword quiz, Hidden treasure etc.
The event was a good learning experience for the students.
