Global Exhibition on Smart Grid, New Delhi

4 students: Megha Keshri (18219), Radha Nayal (18233) Ankush (18831) and Deepak Tiwari (18836) from ECE & EEE Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended the Global Exhibition on Smart Grid organized by India Smart Grid Forum(ISGF) on 6th and 8th March 2018, at Manekshaw centre, New Delhi, India.
INDIA SMART GRID WEEK (ISGW 2018) is the fourth edition of the Conference and Exhibition on Smart Energy and Smart Cities, organized by India Smart Grid Forum (ISGF) scheduled from 5th - 9th March 2018. ISGW 2018 is supported by Government of India Ministries - Ministry of Power, Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Affairs and Make in India.
The expo was focussed on the services sector .The exhibition had dedicated space for seminars, business to business meeting and roundtables around focus sectors and there was participation from major stakeholders including Government, PSU and NGOs as well. The expo provided a global platform for increasing trade in services, enhancing strategic cooperation and strengthening multilateral relationships between all stakeholders and an opportunity to understand the potential for services. It also provided a platform for service sector Industry to interface with world statesmen, business leaders, academia, policy makers and media leaders and for offering opportunities for networking with business delegations from across the world. In numbers, there were over 2000+ participants, 40+ exhibitors, 40+ supporting partner, 64 technical paper.
ISGW 2018 witnessed bilateral workshops such as European Commissions smart grid workshop, Sweden - India smart grid workshop and US - India smart grid workshop and also parallel events such as Distribution Utility meet, Smart City Gas Distribution and Smart Water.
Many industry people and academicians presented their products.
The exhibition was very informative.
