Participation in G20 Final University Connect

Students of 3^rd semester CSE (AI&ML), Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram volunteered and participated in the G20 Final University Connect held on 26^th September, 2023, in Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi in the presence of Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi. On September 25, students met with representatives from several ministries. and were selected to volunteer the event held on 26^th September.  Around 900 institutions and colleges from across India attended the event.

DCE students reported on 26^th September 2023 at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium with their designated squads (ID card). The G20 summit was held a week earlier at Bharat Mandapam, popularly known as the International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC) complex. The Bharat Mandapam's interior was magnificent and incredible with works of sculpture and Indian idols adorning the complex. Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, attended as a Chief Guest. The event started around 4 pm. He spoke at the University Connect event as "Young India" and spoke on issues like the Swatchta Abhiyan, Yuva Shakti, Ek bharat Akhand Bharat, and the value of youth. The overseas delegates attended to take part in this educational session.  The Final University Connect was an unparalleled and delightful experience overall.
