Quiz Competition on "NSS Day"

 NSS Unit, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram celebrated “NSS Day” The celebrations revolve around the theme "Not Me, But You" focusing on selflessness, empathy, and community welfare on 24^th September, 2023. Quiz Competition was organized to celebrate the NSS Day. 78 students participated in the celebration activities. National Service Scheme (NSS) Day was an occasion of immense significance celebrated in the college. It commemorates the foundation day of the NSS, a voluntary organization under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.

The quiz competition was organized with an objective to engage students in an intellectually stimulating activity and promote awareness about the NSS objectives and values.

The day began with speech by Prof. Pooja Sharma highlighted the importance of community service and the role of NSS in fostering social responsibility. The quiz was structured to cover a range of topics related to NSS, including its history, objectives, ongoing initiatives, and the impact it has had on communities. The quiz comprised of number of rounds, each testing different aspects of the participants' knowledge.

The NSS Day quiz competition served as a successful platform to celebrate the spirit of National Service Scheme. It not only enhanced awareness about NSS but also showcased the intellectual prowess and enthusiasm of the participating students.
