Awareness Programme on "Importance of Education"

NSS Units, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram organized awareness session on “Importance of Education” on 8^th September 2023 for the people in adopted village (Sayyad Mohamadpur ). Faculty members and students of final year went to the village and guided the people about the importance of education.

The objective of the session was to make village people understand the Importance of Education.

Faculty members interacted with the peoples of village and said, Education is a fundamental human right, and it is the key to economic and social development. Faculty members explained Education can empower individuals in various ways and contributes to the eradication of poverty by enabling an individual to obtain employment and meet all of the necessities for their family.  An educated individual is harder to trick and is less likely to participate in social injustices. They are less likely to cheat and commit crimes as a result of it. A nation's trade and commerce are eventually enhanced by an increase in the educated population. Because they see the value of law and order, it gives the citizens a deeper grasp of it and increases the likelihood that they will grow up to be law-abiding citizens. Several societal ills can be combated with education; it dismantles many unfair traditions like child marriage, the dower system, and Sati Pratha and inspires women to become to independent.
