Janmashtami Celebration

Cultural Club, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram celebrated the festival of Janmashtami with great joy and devotion on 6th September, 2023. All the students, faculty members and the staff members of the college participated in the celebration activities with great enthusiasm.
The program started with offering prayers to Lord Krishna. Students presented a splendidly colourful program and presented many devotional bhajans and dances. The highlight of the day was Dahi Handi program. It was organized in the college premises where all the staff, students and the faculty members jointly formed human pyramid to break the pot filled with curd and butter being hung at a height. The event was based on the Krishna stealing curd and butter as a baby.
Everyone were overjoyed with the celebration. The entire atmosphere turned into spiritual as the loud music of devotional songs started. The celebration brought everyone together, thus signifying unity and faith.
