6th India Machine Tools Exhibition (IMTOS)
The 6th India Machine Tools Show 2015 (IMTOS) held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from 4th to 7th July, 2015 was organised by Mr. Kamlesh Gohil, Managing Director at K and D Communication Limited. Faculty members Mr. Rajeev Gupta, Ms. Manjari Saxena and Ms. Preeti Gulia, of Mechanical Engineering Department from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon visited the exhibition.
“Make in India” was the theme and 750 national and international companies enlisted as participants showcased their latest manufacturing, measuring and automation technologies. Besides business and transfer of knowhow also took place.
1. IMTOS 2015 had a Vendor Development Cell in the exhibition for the Major PSUs like Railways, Defense, ISRO amongst others. All the major buyers of Machine tools and machines had their teams to have B2B meets with major suppliers.

IMTOS 2015 Exhibitors profile includes Machine Tools, Heavy Machinery, CNC Machines & SPMs, Sheet Metal Working Machineries of all categories, Small Light Workshop Machineries, Hydraulic Press, Press Brake, Shearing Machines, Cutting Tools, Hand Tools, Power Tools, Industrial Pumps and Valves, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Air Compressors, Electrical, Electronics & Industrial Automation, Instrumentation, Industrial Robotics, Wires And Cables, Testing and Measuring Instruments, Energy Conservation Products, Gears, Motors &Drives, Newly Launched and Specialized Industrial Products, Wood Working Machineries, Welding and Welding Consumables.
Mr. Naveen Ahuja, Manager – Delhi Operations from Radical Scientific Equipments Pvt. Ltd. guided about the latest technology used in Microscopes, profile projector and infra-red thermal Imaging cameras.
Mr. Shaukat Khan, Sr. Sales Engineer, SPAC Pneumatic, discussed about the pneumatic systems used in industries.
Companies like Sugino Machine India Private Limited (dealing in high precision drilling and boring equipment including micro drilling capabilities from 0.9mm dia onwards) and FARO Singapore Pvt. Ltd. (dealing in Laser tracker, Laser scanner, 3D Imager & Laser scan arm), participated at IMTOS.
Mr. Keshav Chand Sharma, Sr. engineer, Micromatic Machine Tools Pvt. Ltd. showed control panel used in CNC’s for programming and 3D representation of the programmed content. That control system was very useful for the purpose of training the students.
