Two-day workshop on Firebird - V Fundamentals
on
1st and 2nd of March 2024
Two-day workshop on Firebird - V Fundamentalswas conducted on 1st – 2nd March 2024 under the mentorship ofDr. R. Dheivanai, e-YantraLab Co-ordinator.She welcomedthe participants and highlighted the significance of Firebird-V in the field of Robotics and Automation. The team members introduced themselves, setting a positive and interactive tone for the two-day event.
The workshop is aimed to provide a comprehensive learning experience on Firebird-V fundamentals, focusing on motion control, white line follower, I/O buzzer, and LCD interfacing. The sessions included theoretical discussions, practical demonstrations, and interactive team activities.
Ms. Diya Ray, a proficient sixth-semester student from the Electronics and Communication Engineering department, conducted in-depth theoretical sessions. Topics covered included the theoretical aspects of motion control, white-line follower algorithms, and the principles behind I/O buzzer and LCD interfacing.
The workshop focused on practical demonstrations and hands-on activities. Deepak Yadav VI sem AIML, Sudheer – VI sem AIML, Anubhav Banerjee - VI sem CSE,Chaitany Agrawal - VI sem CSE, and Ajay Rawat - IV sem IoT were actively participated in practical demonstrations. They showcased real-time applications of Firebird-V in various scenarios, emphasizing the practical implementation of the concepts discussed. The team members actively engaged with participants, providing guidance and support during practical sessions. The participants, grouped into teams of 1-6 members, actively participated in interactive team activities. These activities fostered collaboration, problem-solving, and hands-on learning experiences with firebird robot.
Totalfour sessions were conductedin the two-day workshop with different participants (60 Teams). At the end of the session, quiz was conducted.
The two-day workshop on Firebird-V Fundamentals at DCE, proved to be a successful initiative in enhancing the participants' understanding of robotics and automation. The combination of theoretical sessions, practical demonstrations, and interactive team activities ensured a holistic learning experience. Participants left with enriched knowledge, practical skills, and a deeper appreciation for the applications of Firebird-V in the evolving field of technology.
