Ideathon and Paper Presentation Competition (Vision-2025)
27th - 28th February 2025
ISTE Student Chapter in collaboration with Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Ministry of Education (MoE) and Department of Applied Science & Humanities, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram organized Ideathon and Paper Presentation Competition (VISION – 2025) on the occasion of “National Science Day” from 27th -28th February 2025. The event was coordinated by student volunteers along with Prof. Anita Chaudhary, Prof. Amritpal Kaur and Prof. Pankaj Kumari. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and external experts.
The event aimed to foster creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork, while providing a platform for students to present their ideas to academicians. The event brought together students from various disciplines to brainstorm and develop innovative solutions to real-world challenges and to provide a platform for students and scholars to present their research work, exchange ideas, and enhance their academic and professional growth.
30 teams registered for Ideathon and Paper Presentation respectively. Each team demonstrated a deep understanding of the problems they were solving and showcased the potential of their ideas to make a meaningful impact on society. The session highlighted the incredible talent and vision of the students, with many ideas set to shape the future of technology, business, and social change.
The Paper presentations were divided into multiple sessions, each chaired by distinguished faculty members and experts. Participants presented their research papers on various topics. Each presentation was followed by a Q&A session, allowing for in-depth discussions and constructive feedback.
The judging and evaluation process for Vision 2025 was designed to assess the innovation, feasibility, and impact of student ideas. A panel of judges evaluated each submission based on predefined criteria to ensure fairness and transparency.
After an intense evaluation process, the judges selected the top three winning teams based on their creativity, feasibility, impact, and presentation skills. The teams stood out for their innovative solutions to real-world problems, their technical expertise, and their potential for future scalability.
