Winners at IDE Boot-Camp at IIT Jammu - Edition 2 Phase II

B.N.Vernika (Team Leader – 26608, ECE Dept.), Kumari Anshu (26633, ECE Dept.), Yash Jaiswal (26669, ECE Dept.), Divyanshu Yadav (26618, ECE Dept.) and Bhavesh (26609, ECE Dept.) under the mentorship of Aditya Gautam (DCE Alumnus) participated at the IDE Bootcamp (Edition 2 Phase II ) held at IIT Jammu from 17th – 21st February 2025 and presented their project titled “Green Printing”. The Bootcamp was a five-day intensive program aimed at equipping participants with the essential knowledge and skills required to build a successful entrepreneurial venture. The bootcamp covered various aspects of business development, including problem identification, market analysis, business model formulation, and pitching strategies.
The team presented the Green Printing initiative, focusing on sustainable and eco-friendly printing solutions. Throughout the bootcamp, the team members refined the business model, identified key stakeholders, and developed a compelling pitch with insights from mentors and industry experts.
The bootcamp followed a structured approach to transforming innovative ideas into scalable business models. Each day was dedicated to a different aspect of venture development:
- Day 1:The bootcamp commenced with an orientation session, followed by an introduction to the Problem Statement Canvas and Design Thinking. The sessions helped the participants to identify real-world challenges and develop structured, solution-oriented approaches.
- Day 2:The focus shifted to Market Analysis, where the participants explored different Types of Markets, created a Customer Persona, and employed the Value Proposition Canvas to align the product with customer needs effectively.
- Day 3:Participants explored Prototyping, learned about various types and gained insights into testing and refining product versions before finalizing a market-ready solution.
- Day 4:The sessions covered Business Model Development, Pre-Launch Cost Analysis, and the Go-To-Market Strategy, providing participants with a structured roadmap for successfully launching the venture.
- Day 5:The bootcamp concluded with a final pitching session, where team Green Printing presented idea to jury. The team emerged as one of the winners, demonstrating the feasibility and impact of the venture.
The interactive workshops and hands-on sessions significantly enhanced entrepreneurial understanding, and allowed the team mates to critically analyze and strengthen the business strategy.
Team successfully pitched the idea and emerged as one of the winning teams. The recognition validated the viability of the concept and provided the participants with valuable feedback for further improvement.
The IDE Bootcamp at IIT Jammu was an enriching and transformative experience that reinforced the entrepreneurial mindset. The mentorship, expert interactions, and structured training provided all with essential skills to convert vision into reality.
