IEEE Delhi Section Students, Young Professionals, Women in Engineering, and Life Member Congress

Kanika Lamba, IEEE Student Branch Counselor from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram, along with IEEE Student Chair Rupashi attended the IEEE Delhi Section Students, Young Professionals, Women in Engineering (WIE), and Life Member Congress held at BVICAM, New Delhi, on the 8th & 9th February, 2025. The event brought together esteemed dignitaries, IEEE members, student representatives, and industry professionals for insightful discussions and knowledge sharing.
Dr. Sneha Kalra, Dr. Rajneesh Sharma, Prof. M.N. Hoda (Section Chair, IEEE Delhi Section), Prof. A.Q. Ansari, Dr. Rashmi Aggarwal and other distinguished guests and experts were the key dignitaries present at the congress.
The Congress featured a variety of sessions, including technical talks, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, workshop, coding competitions, cultural events and many more. One of the key highlights was the WIE Panel Discussion, which focused on empowering women in technology and fostering diversity in engineering fields. Esteemed panelists shared their experiences and insights, inspired students and professionals.
The Student Chair of the Delhi Section delivered a comprehensive presentation on the events conducted throughout the year 2024. Additionally, yearly reports were submitted by all student branches, showcasing their activities and achievements.
Prof. M.N. Hoda, Section Chair of the IEEE Delhi Section, acknowledged the commendable efforts of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram for their active participation and contributions to IEEE initiatives.
