Workshop on "Web with Cloud Computing"

CSI Student Chapter, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram organized a workshop on “Web with Cloud Computing” on 8^th February, 2023. Mr. Yogesh Kumar (Tech Expert) from Learn and Build was the resource person of the workshop.  The workshop was conducted at the auditorium and CSE/CSIT/IT/ECS students attended the workshop.

Mr. Yogesh Kumar started the workshop by introducing Learn and Build platform. Then he explained about “Cloud” He explained that “Cloud” provides its users the access to storage, files, through computers, smartphones, tablets and wearables. He explained the concept through examples of Cloud which includes Dropbox, Microsoft Azure, Rackspace and Google Cloud facility. Adding to this, he elucidated about the networking and security aspects in Cloud. He told the students that cloud network security is a foundational layer of Cloud Security.

He then explained students, “Cloud Computing”. He said,cloud computing is involved in delivering hosted services over the internet. There are three types of cloud computing: IaaS: Infrastructure as a Service. PaaS: Platform as a Service and SaaS: Software as a Service. He said , both software and hardware components are required for the proper implementation of cloud computing. Next while explaining working of cloud computing he said, cloud computing works by enabling client devices to access data and cloud applications over the internet from remote physical servers, databases and computers

The students were highly benefitted from the workshop and also cleared the doubts.
