Workshop on Interpersonal Communication Skills

Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram organized a one-day workshop on "Interpersonal Communication Skills" for non-teaching staff on 18th March 2023. 32 staff members attended the workshop. The eminent speaker of the workshop was Ms. Niharika (Communication & Marketing Consultant, Ramboll India)

The workshop aimed to enhance the communication abilities of administrative and support staff, enabling them to interact effectively with students, faculty, and other stakeholders. The sessions covered key aspects of interpersonal communication, such as active listening, verbal and non-verbal communication, conflict resolution, and professional etiquette. Experienced trainers conducted role-playing exercises and case studies to provide practical insights into improving workplace communication and fostering a collaborative environment.

The workshop emphasized the importance of effective communication in enhancing workplace efficiency and building positive relationships. Participants were encouraged to develop empathy, adaptability, and teamwork to create a more productive and harmonious work culture. Various interactive sessions helped staff members understand the significance of clarity, tone, and feedback in day-to-day interactions.
