Session on "Impact and Applications of Engineering in the field of Medical Science"

On 7th April, 2023 World Health Organisation observed its 75th anniversary. This day is celebrated as World Health Day. The World Health Organisation was founded in 1948 with the motive to serve the vulnerable ones, promote health and help each individual to attain the highest level of physical and mental health. This year World Health Day was celebrated with the theme “Health for all”.
On this occasion NSS Units, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram organized a session on “Impact and Applications of Engineering in the field of Medical Science” on 7th April, 2023. The keynote speaker of the session was Dr. Reshu Sanan (Professor, Department of Prosthodontics and Implantology, Deputy Dean, Ofiice of External Affairs, SGT University) In the session students were told how the combination of medical science with engineering can empower clinical science and bring change to humanity. Students learnt about the advancement of engineering in the field of medical science and how this step has brought a positive change in the overall health care system around the world.
The event ended with vote of thanks by Principal Prof. (Dr.) Isha Malhotra and encouraged the students to research more about the field of engineering and medical sciences and tries to bring positive changes in the Indian Healthcare System.
