Workshop on Andro - Engine
14th - 15th October 2016
Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized a workshop on Andro - Engine conducted by Techtron Technologies in association with the IIT Hyderabad from 14th - 15th October 2016. DCE, Gurgaon hosted the event as a Zonal Center of “ELAN- 2017”, a national level technical festival organised by IIT Hyderabad. 45 students from Mechanical Department attended the workshop.
The aim of the workshop was to generate awareness on the various problems arises during design and manufacturing Andro - Engine.
Day 1: 14th October 2016
Inaugural session began with the informative speech by Prof. Anil Kumar Gillawat, HOD Mechanical. Prof. Gillawat gave an overview of workshop and discussed some problem related to Andro-Engine. Mr. Kashish Nagpal, Founder & Director, Techtron Technologies and Mr. Durga Parsad, Senior Research Engineer were the keynote speaker for the workshop. Afternoon session began with the installation of application “Cellbot” and working of the engine and study of different parts of the Engine.
Day 2: 15th October 2016
Ssession began with the innovative ideas provided by participants on the problem discussed on the first day of workshop. The discussion started with design and manufacturing of Andro-Engine.
Afternoon session began with practical on Engine controlled with Android Phone and Laptop with the software “Andrino”. Afterward a zonal round quiz was organized at end of the session. In quiz competition, 20 students were selected to attend a National Level competition at IIT Hyderabad.
The session came to an end with the Valedictory Session in the presence of Prof. Anil Kumar Gillawat HOD mechanical, Faculty Ccoordinators Mr. Amit Narwal, and Mr. Vineet Kumar Mishra, who motivated the participants. Prof. Gillawatalso emphasized on some new aspect to design and manufacturing of Andro-Engine.
It was a commendable and brilliant initiative to search a solution for most highlighting problem and driven by the current scenario. The event was concluded with the feedback and suggestions from all participants.
