19th International Conference of International Academy of Physical Sciences (CONIAPS-XIX)
17th - 19th October 2016
Dr. Vaishali Dixit, Associate Professor of Applied Sciences and Humanities Dapartment from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon presented the research paper Molecular Polarizability and thermodynamic parameters of 2-Chloro-5-(tri fluoromethyl) pyridine in 19th International Conference of International Academy of Physical Sciences (CONIAPS-XIX) on Fixed Point Theory and Dynamical System during 17th -19th October 2016 at D.S.B Campus, Kumaun University, Nainital (Uttarakhand).
The objective of the conference was to bring together researchers, developers, and practitioners from the academic fraternity. Several researchers from different fields of physical sciences and technologies actively participated in the event.
Invited talks in various fields of physical sciences and technologies by leading scientists of different countries were the highlights of the conference. In addition, interaction between academicians in the form of lectures and discussions on all aspects of physical science and technology were conducted so as to forge bonds and gain from each other’s experience and knowledge regarding the latest advances in the field of physical sciences and technology.
Dr. Vaishali in her research has applied Lippincott d function model of chemical binding to evaluate the mean molecular polarizabilities of hetro nuclear ring compound. The results thus obtained are compared with the experimental value reported earlier and are discussed in terms of contribution from p and s bonds. The relative merits of the present method compared with that of Lippincott and Stutman are also discussed. Thermodynamic parameters of 2-chloro-5 (tri Fluoromethyl) pyridine have been reported. The thermodynamic parameters have been calculated using the vibrational frequencies with the help of computer programming.
The Conference provided a platform to scientists and researchers working in different disciplines to discuss and harness the potential of the innovative ideas for meeting the challenges of the future.
