Visit to 9th India International Science Festival (IISF)

ISTE Student Chapter, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram organized a visit to “9th India International Science Festival.” Students of CSE and CSE (AI&ML) Department of 3rd year along with Dr. Shipra Arora (Faculty, DCE) participated in Science Festival at THSTI Campus, NCR Biotech Science Cluster, Faridabad Gurugram from 17th - 20th January, 2024.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Earth Sciences in collaboration with Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA), aimed to celebrate and promote the spirit of science and innovation. The festival served as a platform for students to explore cutting-edge technologies, network with experts, and broaden their horizons in the fields of science and engineering.
The four-day festival featured a wide array of activities, including exhibitions, workshops, panel discussions, and competitions. The students explored innovations in robotics, renewable energy, biotechnology, and artificial intelligence, gaining insights into practical applications of science. The students attended sessions led by renowned scientists, where they learned about emerging technologies such as quantum computing and space exploration. Students also got the opportunity to interact with leading scientists, entrepreneurs, and innovators who provided inspiration and valuable career guidance.
Benefits/Outcome: the visit enhanced the students’ understanding of scientific advancements and their impact on society. It ignited their curiosity, motivating them to pursue innovative projects and research.
