Teachers’ Day Celebration

Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram celebrated Teachers’ Day on 5th September 2026 at the Information Resource Centre (IRC) and EDC Cell with warmth, enthusiasm and heartfelt appreciation. The celebration was organized to honour the unwavering dedication of teachers and acknowledge their invaluable role in guiding students, nurturing their potential and shaping the academic environment of the institution.
Bringing together creativity and camaraderie, the celebration featured a series of engaging activities designed to create joyful moments for the faculty members. One of the highlights was “Mark Your Presence with Hand Print,” where teachers enthusiastically placed their handprints as a symbolic representation of their presence, contribution and lasting impact on the institution.
Adding a playful spark to the occasion, the “Pyramid Making Game” brought teachers together in an atmosphere filled with laughter, teamwork and excitement. Participants displayed remarkable coordination, enthusiasm and team spirit, turning the activity into a memorable experience and adding a refreshing break from their regular academic responsibilities.
The celebration continued with a cheerful cake-cutting ceremony, bringing teachers and members of the Library Department together to share the joy of the occasion. The gathering created a warm sense of togetherness and provided an opportunity for faculty members to celebrate their shared commitment to education and student development.
As a special gesture of appreciation, Principal Dr. Isha Malhotra presented a “Token of Gratitude” to all the teachers, recognizing their sincere efforts, commitment and continuous contribution to the growth of students and the institution. The gesture beautifully reflected the spirit of Teachers’ Day - celebrating educators whose guidance extends far beyond classrooms and textbooks.
