MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026

Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram marked a significant national-level achievement through the participation of its students in MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026, a nationwide youth engagement initiative organized by MY Bharat, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, and Government of India. The National Round was held on 12–13 April 2026 at designated centres across the country.
Focused on developing greater awareness of the Union Budget 2026, the initiative encouraged young participants to explore India’s development priorities and engage with important national issues. A structured multi-stage format comprising the National Level Quiz, Essay Round, and National Round enabled participants to demonstrate their knowledge, analytical abilities, and understanding of contemporary development themes.
Beginning with participation from over 12 lakh youth across India, the competition provided a highly competitive platform for young minds. Successful participants advanced to the State/UT-level Essay Round, where they explored themes such as education and skill development, digital transformation, technology, entrepreneurship, sustainability, infrastructure, and national growth.
A proud moment came with six students of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram - Akash Nandy, Goldi, Himanshu, Navya, Mahima Lohan and Nancy - advancing to the National Round. Their selection reflected their active engagement, awareness, and ability to perform on a platform bringing together young participants from across the country.
Representing DCE at the Hisar Participation Centre, Haryana, the students participated in activities and thematic engagements organized as part of the National Round. Discussions and interactions provided insights into the Union Budget, technology and innovation, digital economy, education, entrepreneurship, skill development, and the role of youth in nation-building.
Exposure to such a national platform enabled students to look beyond their academic specializations and develop a broader perspective on the economic, social, and technological developments shaping the country. The experience also encouraged critical thinking, communication, awareness, and informed participation in contemporary issues.
Reaching the National Round stands as a noteworthy accomplishment for the participating students and highlights their enthusiasm for learning beyond conventional academic boundaries. Their involvement also demonstrates the importance of youth-oriented platforms in encouraging students to engage with development, innovation, public awareness, and emerging national priorities.
