24th Convocation Ceremony

Dronacharya College of Engineering successfully organized its 24th Convocation Ceremony on 11th April 2026 with great pride, enthusiasm, and academic grandeur. The event marked an important milestone in the lives of graduating students and celebrated their academic achievements in the esteemed presence of dignitaries, faculty members, parents, and guests. The ceremony was honoured by the gracious presence of Hon’ble Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kaushik, Vice-Chancellor of Gurugram University, who attended as the Chief Guest. The occasion was further graced by the esteemed presence of Director Prof. (Dr.) B. M. K. Prasad, Principal Prof. (Dr.) Isha Mehta, along with distinguished dignitaries, senior faculty members, and esteemed guests, adding dignity and grandeur to the event.
The programme commenced with the arrival and reporting of graduates, followed by a rehearsal session to ensure smooth proceedings. The Chief Guest was warmly welcomed by the Director, Principal, and Heads of Departments at the portico, followed by a tea session in the Principal’s chamber. The ceremonial Shobha Yatra then began, marking the formal start of the convocation. The ceremony opened with a floral welcome to the Chief Guest, the traditional lighting of the Panch Pradeepam, and garlanding of Maa Saraswati, symbolizing knowledge, wisdom, and enlightenment.
The Principal delivered the welcome address, highlighting the achievements and vision of the institution, and formally declared the commencement of the ceremony. The Convocation Address by Prof. (Dr.) Sanjay Kaushik inspired graduates with valuable insights on innovation, responsibility, and lifelong learning. Degrees were conferred upon graduates from various departments including CSE, CSE-AIML, CSIT/CSE-IOT, Mechanical Engineering, and ECE/EEE. Meritorious students, GATE-qualified faculty members, the Best Department, and Best Placement Achievers were also felicitated for their outstanding accomplishments.
The ceremony concluded with the Shastroukt Deekshant Updesh by Dr. Ashok Kumar, offering guidance and blessings to the graduating students. A token of gratitude was presented to the Chief Guest, followed by the Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Ashima Mehta, Event Coordinator. The programme ended with the National Anthem and lunch, making the 24th Convocation Ceremony 2026 a memorable and proud occasion that reflected the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, integrity, and holistic development.
