Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), DCE Gurugram, organized an insightful Expert Session on “Emerging Trends in CSE: AI, Cloud & Beyond” on 23 April 2026 to familiarize students with the rapidly evolving landscape of Computer Science and Engineering. The session focused on Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Digital Innovation, and next-generation technologies, offering valuable insights into current developments, emerging trends, and future opportunities in the IT sector while promoting innovation, technology awareness, and industry-oriented learning.
Prof. Nabendu Chaki, Professor and Former Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, University of Calcutta, shared his extensive academic and professional expertise with the participants during the session. His interaction highlighted the growing significance of Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing in transforming industries through automation, data-driven decision-making, and innovativeproblem-solving and digital transformation, helping students gains a broader perspective on emerging technological developments.
Emphasis was placed on developing a strong foundation in core concepts while embracing continuous learning to stay aligned with rapidly evolving technologies. The interactive discussion helped students explore how AI, Cloud Computing, and emerging digital technologies are transforming real-world applications, industries, and problem-solving approaches.
