Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign

NSS Units, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon, organized an impactful “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign from 9^th to 15^th August, 2024. The initiative was aligned with the national campaign encouraging citizens to hoist the tricolor flag at their homes, celebrating India's Independence and promoting patriotism. The event aimed to enhance national consciousness among students and staff while contributing to the broader societal movement.  

Reflecting on the unwavering spirit of patriotism, the NSS Units of Dronacharya College of Engineering proudly took the pledge for the "Har Ghar Tiranga" campaign. The college distributed national flags to all students, faculty, and staff. Each member was encouraged to display the flag at their homes during the campaign period.

A series of educational sessions were conducted to inform students about the history and significance of the Indian flag. Students participated in patriotic song where they expressed their love for the country and reflected on the importance of the national flag.

The campaign culminated in a grand flag hoisting ceremony on the college campus, where the national anthem was sung, and speeches were delivered by the college principal, faculty members, and students. From 9^th August to 15^th August, 2024 everybody united as a community, bringing the Tiranga into homes and celebrating the essence of Independence.

Students were encouraged to share photographs of their homes displaying the national flag on social media platforms using the hashtag #HarGharTiranga, to spread the message to a wider audience.

The campaign was a true tribute to collective commitment to the values of freedom and democracy.
