Workshop on “Introduction to Android” and “Why we need programming?”

Three students Akansha (18010), Atul Raj Gupta (18031) and Pakriti (18117), Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon conducted the workshop on “Introduction to Android” and “Why we need programming?” at Holy Cross School on 6th February 2018.
The workshop began with the introduction of Android. Akansha explained the school students, Android is a comprehensive software stack of mobile devices that includes an operating system, middleware and key application. She also told students, android is a rich source of software bunch used in Mobile Technology through its innovation module of The Android Software Development Kit (SDK).
Next session was taken by Atul Raj Gupta (18031). He told students, Android is built on Open Linux Kernel. This particular software for Mobile Application is made to be open source, thereby giving the opportunity to the developers to introduce and incorporate any technological advancement. Build on custom virtual machine android gives its users the addition usage and application power.
Proceeding the session Prakriti (18117) told the advantages of programming. She told students, programming advance their ability to develop real algorithms. Most of the languages comes with lot of features for Programmer which when used in a proper manner gives best results.
The workshop ended with question and answer session.
It was a very interactive session and experiencing for students of DCE.
