EXTENSION LECTURE ON “UPCOMING OPPORTUNITIES”
On 11th March 2015, four students Himanshu Sharma(Roll No.16217), Amit Sharma(Roll No. 16196), Akshat Sharma(Roll No. 16194) , Kunal Kumar(Roll No. 16228) from Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended an extension lecture on “Upcoming Opportunities” at IETE Headquarters, Lodhi Road, New Delhi.
The extension lecture was organised by Green Field Knowledge And Green Cloud iSoft in collaboration with The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE) with an objective to discuss on upcoming huge opportunities (for business people, self employment for young engineers) to transform the society, governance and industries as a whole.
The experts explained the role and applications of ‘Internet Of Things’ (IoT) as a unique identifier. They also explained its ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction; how IoT has evolved from the convergence of wireless technologies, micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) and the Internet.
The lecture was informative as the students got the exposure related to various applications of Internet of Things and other skills relevant to their career.
