Trip to Singapore

Tourism Club, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram sponsored the “Trip to Singapore: The Lion City” for its students and faculty members on 20th - 21st June 2023. Faculty members Dr. Ritu Pahwa, Dr. Kunal Arora and Prof. Neha Chauhan along with 6 students namely Maniya(CSE), Harshita(CSE), Harsh Bhardwaj (ECE), Pratham Tiwari (CSEAIML), Sejal(CSEAIML), Sahil Aggarwal(CSEAIML), embarked on an extraordinary educational trip to Singapore.
Singapore a tiny island nation in Southeast Asia, is a captivating blend of modernity and tradition, making it an ideal destination for college students seeking a unique and enriching travel experience.
Students ventured out to explore the vibrant streets of Chinatown, savoring their first taste of authentic Singaporean cuisine. Trip to gardens by the Bay was exciting as they marveled at the otherworldly Supertree Grove and the mesmerizing Cloud Forest. The afternoon was spent at the Marina Barrage, where they learned about the importance of water resource management in the water-scarce nation. Students also explored Singapore's rich cultural tapestry by visiting Little India and Kampong Glam.
Next day students visited the National University of Singapore that provided a glimpse into the world-class educational institutions and innovative research being conducted in Singapore. Visit to Sentosa Island offered a day of thrilling activities. From zip-lining to exploring the incredible S.E.A. Aquarium and lounging on pristine beaches, this resort island was a perfect mix of adventure and relaxation.
Trip to Singapore was a blend of education, adventure, and cultural exploration. Student left with a deeper understanding of sustainability, innovation, and multiculturalism.
