Winners of Hackathon on "Solution for Waste Reduction"

02 Project Teams of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram bagged 2^nd position in hardware and software tracks at the 36 hour long hackathon on "SOLUTION FOR WASTE REDUCTION" held at Chitkara University, Punjab from 30^th June - 1^st July, 2023.  

On 30^th June, 2023, Aditya Gautam (ECE, 3^rd year) and Aryan Rakheja (AIML, 3^rd year) represented their project ideas GREEN PRINTING and OBOT respectively, under the mentorship of  Prof. Neha Verma (ECE Dept.). 

The hackathon was divided into two tracks Hardware and Software and was organized by DICE (Department of Interdisciplinary Courses), Chitkara University in association with Punjab Pollution Control Board. More than 50 Teams participated in the hackathon where like-minded people gather to manifest their ideas into reality working day and night. The Teams were judged throughout the duration of hackathon and were given time based tasks like making modifications as per feedback received from Panelists. On 1^st July, 2023, both teams of DCE won 2^nd position in their domain thereby winning certificates, trophy and cash prize of INR 15,500. 

Result of Hackathon: 

• Aditya Gautam(ECE, 3rd year) for Project GREEN PRINTING won 2^nd position in Hardware Track with Trophy, Certificate and cash prize of Rs.15500
•  Aryan Rakheja(AIML, 3rd year) for Project OBOT won 2^nd position in Software Track with Trophy, Certificate and cash prize of Rs.15500
