Teachers’ Day Celebration

Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram organized Teachers’ Day Celebration on 5th September 2025 in the college auditorium. The program was dedicated to expressing heartfelt gratitude and admiration toward the teaching fraternity for their constant guidance, wisdom, and commitment to student growth. The day also marked the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the distinguished philosopher, educationist, and former President of India, whose ideals continue to inspire educators across the nation.
The celebration commenced in the afternoon with enthusiastic participation from faculty members, staff, and students. The event was elegantly hosted by Prof. Anita Choudhary and Prof. (Dr.) Nidhi Srivastava, who created an atmosphere filled with warmth and joy. The program began with a melodious recitation of the Guru Gita Shloka, paying homage to the revered role of teachers as guiding lights of knowledge and virtue.
A short video presentation followed, highlighting the life, philosophy, and contributions of Dr. Radhakrishnan, emphasizing his belief in education as a tool for holistic development. The Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Isha Malhotra, then delivered an inspiring address, commending the faculty’s dedication and their invaluable role in shaping the institution’s progress. Her words motivated everyone to continue nurturing students with passion and excellence.
Adding a touch of fun, the event featured an entertaining Faculty Ramp Walk where teachers showcased their confidence and charisma beyond the classroom. The excitement continued with interactive games such as “Find Your Partner,” “Faculty Antakshari,” and “Guess the Song,” which brought laughter and camaraderie among all participants.
The celebration concluded with a cheerful cake-cutting ceremony symbolizing unity and appreciation. A heartfelt vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Megha Goyal, HOD-ECS, CSIT and CSE(IoT) acknowledging the efforts of the organizing departments and volunteers. The event beautifully reflected the affection, respect, and admiration students hold for their teachers — making it a memorable and joyous tribute to the spirit of Teachers’ Day.
