Rhythm of Tradition | Garba Groove

Cultural Club, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurugram, transformed the campus into a lively celebration of colour, music, and tradition on 26th September 2025 with its grand event “Rhythm of Tradition | Garba Groove.” Under the coordination of Ms.Pooja Sharma (HoD, 1st Year), the event unfolded seamlessly, radiating energy and festive spirit throughout.
The event began with an energetic welcome as the beats of Garba music echoed across the campus, instantly setting the mood for celebration. Students adorned in stunning traditional outfits gathered in the open courtyard, forming dazzling circles of rhythm and movement. With every twirl, clap, and step, they beautifully captured the essence of Indian culture, devotion, and festivity.
The mesmerizing performances showcased the students’ creativity and coordination, while the traditional songs and live beats kept everyone on their feet. The event was not merely about dance; it was a celebration of unity, tradition, and shared joy. The synchronized movements of hundreds of dancers, moving gracefully to a shared rhythm, beautifully represented unity and harmony — the essence of collective spirit and togetherness.
Adding to the grandeur, the faculty members also participated enthusiastically, encouraging students and celebrating alongside them. The college campus, reflected the festive aura of Navratri, creating a picturesque setting filled with laughter, music, and smiles.
By the end of the programme, the air was filled with a sense of satisfaction and joy as everyone cherished the memorable experience. The day not only brought students closer but also revived the essence of Indian heritage within the modern campus life.
